+ Your notes are plain files you own, and plugins like Copilot and Smart Connections let you chat with your vault using any model, including local ones.
− AI features require configuring third-party plugins and API keys yourself.
+ No bot joins the call, and the final notes combine your own jottings with what was actually said.
− Desktop-only capture means it cannot record a meeting you join from another device, and the free tier is a small trial.
+ Fast, encrypted, and the AI can run custom prompts over your notes and voice transcriptions.
− No Windows or Android app and no free plan.
+ Answers are grounded strictly in your uploaded PDFs, Docs, URLs and YouTube videos with citations, and Audio Overviews turn them into a two-host podcast.
− Sources are capped per notebook and the free tier limits daily queries and audio generations.
+ Q&A searches your whole Notion workspace plus Slack and Google Drive, and AI autofill keeps database summaries current.
− Since 2025 the full AI is bundled only into the Business tier, which is a steep jump for small teams.
