+ Translations read more naturally than Google Translate for German, French, Spanish and other European languages, and it translates whole documents with formatting intact.
− Covers far fewer languages than Google Translate and the free tier caps document size.
+ Works in nearly every text field on every platform, so corrections and tone suggestions follow you into Gmail, Slack and Word.
− Suggestions can flatten a distinctive voice and the premium nag prompts in the free tier are constant.
+ Reports on pacing, dialogue tags, repeated words and sticky sentences go far beyond what Grammarly checks.
− The volume of reports is overwhelming at first and the desktop apps can be sluggish on long manuscripts.
